With over 17 years of programming experience, 9 of them in a professional capacity, Matthew is a seasoned software developer. He is currently a tech lead writing Swift and React Native for the TrainingPeaks app. His work was featured in WWDC 2023. Matthew has also held lead positions at companies such as Northwestern Mutual and served as a founding engineer at Franchisely. His most recent project involves partnering with Apple to develop an app using their new WorkoutKit API. This follows his development of a custom microfrontend framework, utilizing technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, Go, and Docker. In his free time, Matthew enjoys reading, playing guitar, skiing, rock climbing, and collecting vinyl records.
